GREEN SMOOTHIES - FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Feb 1, 2024
GREEN SMOOTHIES ARE A GREAT WAY TO PACK A LOT OF NUTRITION INTO ONE SMALL
SNACK OR MEAL.
Here’s a list of some common ingredients in green smoothies, as well as a recipe for a delicious green smoothie.
When making your green smoothie, aim to keep to a 2:1 greens to fruit ratio. For every cup of fruit, you want 2 cups of greens.
This will help to make your smoothie more nutrient-dense.
For the best results, I recommend using a high-powered blender, such as a Vitamix or BlendTec. If you do not have a highpowered blender, make sure to blend your greens and liquid first, before adding in fruit and any other ingredients.
